Jerome Barry

It is with the greatest sadness that I have to inform you all of the untimely death of Jerome on Saturday 13th June.

Many of you will have known that he was suffering from an aggressive brain tumour which he and his family fought with all the vigour they could muster.

Jerome was not a normal member of our club, he was an exceptional one. He gave his time to help with fundraisers, maintenance days, competitions and was always a huge help to the committee with his thoughts on the way forward which were always well considered and very welcome.

He was an exceptionally good and consistent shot and as regular an attendee as anyone. I am absolutely certain that we will all miss his cheery outlook on life and his friendship.

Jerome’s loss will leave a huge hole in this club and his memory will live very long.

Our deepest condolences go to Rita, Jade and James at this time. Their family strength is amazing to behold and a credit to Jerome.
