For anyone that does not know Colin & Sophie gave birth to a little girl on the 30th January 2014 and named her Tessa Winifred Bexie Moore. Tess was diagnosed with Edwards Syndrome (Trisomy 18) about a week after her birth.
What you read below is from Colin & Sophie
Im very sorry to say that our beautiful little Tess passed away peacefully this morning after going downhill very quickly. Thankfully, she was in no pain and it was her heart that failed. It goes without saying that we are heartbroken but also relieved that it was over so quickly. In her 40 days she came everywhere with me (and even managed a few girls nights out!) and most importantly she got to meet the really important people in our lives and had endless cuddles.
If you would like to understand more about her condition, Tess was diagnosed with Edwards Syndrome (Trisomy 18) about a week after her birth.
We are putting arrangements in place for a service at St. Andrews, Blagdon and I will keep you all posted as to when etc.
Thank you to all our family, friends and the local community for all your support and words of encouragement through the most difficult time of our lives xxx
Tessa Winifred Bexie Moore 30/01/14 – 11/03/14
We are having a service for Tess at St. Andrews, Blagdon on Monday 17th March at 3.30pm. We want it to be a ‘family friendly’ occasion – so short and sweet. This will follow a private cremation, so there will be no casket at the church (if that makes it easier).
Then it’s off to the village club for tea/coffee/beer and light refreshment.
We hope that you will be able to join us to help celebrate her short but special life.
We will be hoping to make donations to NICU at St Michaels and to Charlton Farm Children’s Hospice.
Please feel free to share if you think there is someone not on my friends list who would like to attend xxx
